Love this Liza! The color palette looks great on you and the whole wardrobe is very cohesive. Since doing your color analysis, have you found that you can mix and match your wardrobe easier as you've been gravitating towards a color palette?

Would love to see your seven outfits every season!!

Thank you Maggie! Would LOVE to do this every season. Although, it will get boring really quickly because my wardrobe is tiny haha (and I like it like that!).

Re-the colour palette. Yes it has definitely helped me with mixing and matching. Being completely honest, I don't know that it's the color analysis that got me there necessarily. Because I like a tiny wardrobe, I have always liked color matching so I can get more wear out of everything. Color analysis however has been the thing that helps me determine which color palette to develop. It has also helped me chose the right 'tones' within the colors, I always had a tendency to go for verrrrryyy warm shades - warm browns, warm greens, etc. Now I prefer neutral browns, neutral greens, etc.

I loved seeing your outfits, thank you for sharing them with us! I agree with another comment that the capsules are great but sometimes harder to visualise.

The outfit with your mum’s shirt is my favourite overall but I am obsessed with that Reformation embellished skirt 🤩🤩.

On another note I also realised that the outfits that feel more like myself are the more androgynous ones with baggier shorts or culottes and a more feminine top, while I’ve spent so much money summer after summer buying dresses 🙄…

Hi Mariela!! How's your summer going? Thank you for your comment!

The outfit with my mum's shirt is my joint favourite with #1 too! Glad you liked it.

I'm with you. I have SOOOOOO many floral, brightly colored, summer dresses. Some of them I have loved and worn into oblivion. I sold the ones I never really liked and held on and stored the ones that carry memories. I might sell them later too but for now I'm a little emotionally attached hehe. I'm thinking 'damn had i realised all this earlier I would have many more clothes I love to wear', but - as much as that word gives me the ick - style is 'journey' and I'm also enjoying the evolution, not beating myself for it. Xxx

Hi Liza! My summer is going well, hope yours is too! :-)

Your approach is much wiser, yay for not beating ourselves up over past poor style choices. I am keeping the ones I like the best at hand for the days in which I am feeling a bit lazy and just want to slide into a dress, or for summer holidays - I guess it depends a bit on the location, but I have noticed I prefer very simple unfuzzy outfits when I am on vacation, while I prefer more sophisticated accessorized outfits for everyday life. Remaining dresses have been tucked away into a closet and I will assess over time whether I 'miss them' or whether I should sell them/give them away.

I have been really enjoying the newsletters this summer (the sandals review, the one on jewelry, this one with your outfits) even though I didn't get as much time to post. I am looking forward to reading the next ones!

Thank you for sharing! I found what you said about noticing you prefer unfussy outfits for holidays and more fully kitted-out outfits when you're at home particularly interesting. Thinking about it, I think I may be the same. I always pack for holidays full of good intentions, but once I'm there, I'm just prioritising comfort, and I'm in a rush to go out and explore. I'm a true believer that you can never 'underpack'.

So glad to hear you love the features this summer! I LOVED making the sandal review and this column is coming back next week - I am reviewing fall shoes on Sunday 11th 😍 xx

I love your groundbreaking 7 look approach, and even in such a different generation could not relate more to the way you are looking at what feels like you right now, especially as around dressing your body. And I love and am so moved by the skirt with your grandma’s fabric.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so pleased with how things are evolving with my style. Listening to my intuitions has felt great.

I LOVE this skirt - the fabric is gorgeous but it's actually been made in a really weird way haha, it's literally just a tube, same width on the waist and hips so I have to wear with long tops because it looks weird around the waist but I don't even care - it makes me love it even more weirdly, I haven't wanted to take it in just yet. This year, my most cherished additions to my wardrobe have come from my mum and grandma's - that shirt is another one from my mum, I'm wearing it as I type this and getting ready to go to a work lunch. I'm really really grateful to take a little piece of them with me wherever I go. Xx

I adore seeing your wardrobe and love the evolution of your style this year! As I get older I feel like my wardrobe feels closer and closer to the true me and wonder if you feel the same!

Thank you my love! It's such a good feeling. I know that style continuously evolves through our lives but I love the idea of working towards spending entire seasons not wanting for anything, not buying anything new, etc.

I adore the Massimo Dutti jacket, def going on my wishlist and love all the structured oversized pieces you’ve been wearing.

I love it so much. I try to avoid fast fashion at all costs but this was SUCH a good buy. I have worn it a ridiculous amount of times. Massimo Dutti right now is extremely hard to resist so I limited myself to this jacket and I don't regret it whatsoever.

Oooh I forgot this brand is fast fashion because the price point isn’t SUPER cheap, such a good purchase regardless!

So true about the price point. I stopped shopping or even looking at fast fashion fully during 2020/2021/2022 and I remember when 'coming back' after a three year break thinking 'THAT SHIT IS SOOOOO EXPENSIVE!!!'

hahah that's probably my problem too!

Obsessing over the DVN top and the Loewe shorts! Everything looks so fab on you!

I’ve been thinking about my personal moodboard for fall rather than leaning into trends alone. Inspired to your tips as well!

Oh thank you so much! It still feels really uncomfortable for me to stand doing these photos haha. I can't even explain why they are so blurry. Your encouragements mean the world!!

I'm happy you found it useful! It's a process isn't it. In getting closer to my truer style, I feel like this season I have barely wanted for anything and, whilst I know style continuously evolve throughout our lives, this has been a great feeling! Xx

Loved this piece. I love your capsule wardrobes but sometimes have a hard time visualizing the different styling opportunities. Sometimes just seeing one outfit on can help me imagine the little changes I could make. And I love your summer style—so versatile!

Hi Nicole! Thank you so so much. Sometimes it's trickier with the flatlays, isn't it? I use them because I want people to be able to picture how it looks like on their bodies but I totally see what you mean, the visualisation isn't always easy.

My wardrobe is so tiny but I definitely want to get into the habit of showing you the pieces styled at least once per season!

Thank you so much for the supporting! Xx
