020. Q+A: 'The Style I Want Doesn't Look Good on My Body Type'
What Should You Be Prioritising?
Over the last two newsletters, I covered a framework designed to help you find your personal style. Whether you’ve reached peak frustration with your wardrobe and want to start from scratch, or you’re already 95% satisfied with your style, you’ll (hopefully) find it a useful resource to build and grow a wardrobe unique to you. In Part 1, I laid out the difference between fashion and style, the most efficient way I found to use a moodboard, and how to leverage your existing wardrobe. In Part 2, I explained how to use the trend cycle to your benefit, and shared the best approach to making new additions to your wardrobe.
This week, I wanted to keep with the theme of the two-part series and kick off a new regular column dedicated to addressing your best and most frequently asked questions. Every so often, I will dedicate a newsletter to answering some of these questions in depth. I take this opportunity to thank you for putting your trust in my recommendations. I am immensely grateful for having so many people who are smart, interesting, and, incidentally, much better dressed than I am, be part of the community that supports this newsletter.
